The ESEE-4 is a big brother of the iconic ESEE-3, and a popular ESEE EDC workhorse in its own right. The ESEE-4P-B features a 4.5 inch drop point fixed blade made of 1095 carbon steel, with a maximum thickness of .188 inch, a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a 4.1 inch cutting edge, a flat grind, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, the ESEE logo and a non reflective black powder coat finish. The ESEE-4P-B has full tang construction for strength; canvas Micarta scales for comfort, and a curved pommel with integral lanyard hole. A black molded sheath with clip plate is included. The ESEE-4 Knife has an overall length of 9.0 inches, and it weighs 8.0 ounces without the sheath. Made in the USA.

Regarding 1095 steel: ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving.
